I read an article published in the New York Times back in the 1800s about a moirologists’ strike in Paris. This term for a professional mourner seems to be obsolete. What are some other titles for historical occupations that are now obsolete?

Do you think , in our lifetime, archaeologists will ever find more historical artifacts relating to the sea peoples? What would be the holy grail of finds in your mind?

Ohh nice! I’m not a paid sub, but I hope it’s ok to ask: what do you (personally) get out of learning, writing and talking about the ancient past? What’s something that you think is deeply misunderstood about (insert an ancient culture, place, period, personage, etc of your choice)?
