You may have noticed that I have been posting short videos to post here and on the Digging Up The Past socials called One-Minute Dig. These videos are designed to be a fun source for quick and fascinating historical facts. I do hope you enjoy them. If you have any thoughts or ideas for future videos, then do not hesitate to reach out. The more obscure and lesser known, the better.
And while we are on the topic of recordings, I have more interviews lined up for future podcast episodes. This portion of my project of passion has historically been a challenge. Not many scholars agree to be on the program. You’d be surprised with the amount of “no” responses I receive before I eventually receive a “yes” and I respect that and truly appreciate those who have and will be on this program. Persistence is key!

Oh, I almost forgot! The Chat is back! The only reason why it disappeared is because of all the spam accounts posting spam content and my hope is that Substack has a better control of it now.
I will also try to get back to a more routine schedule. Work plus life has been a bit hectic lately with more traveling, kids’ activities, etc. Shame on me for losing consistency. I also immensely appreciate Jess Nadeau (and other guest authors) for helping me keep fresh content going on the site. By the way, you should REALLY check out Jess’s awesome Substack: Mythical Ancients. Anyway, I will try to do better.

Oh, and do not hesitate to engage! Like those posts or post a comment or two. This way I know what you like or don’t like. I have noticed that engagement on Substack is not what it used to me and it makes it more difficult to decide which type of content to focus more on.
