The majority of you answered Alexander the Great, which was the correct answer. Alexander III of Macedon (356 BC – 323 BC) was a king of the ancient Greek kingdom of Macedon, after succeeding his father Philip II, in 336 BC at the age of 20. He spent the majority of his ruling years conducting a military campaign against Persia, through Western Asia, Central Asia, parts of South Asia, and Egypt. And by the age of 30, he had created one of the largest empires in history, stretching from Greece to northwestern India.
